Day Six

Our last day was spent in worship…singing and praising Jesus through HIS word and songs! It was amazing to see the church filled with kids and parents excited to hear God’s word! The theme for the day was treasures! Jesus is our treasure…His Word , His love, His forgiveness, His hope, His grace and His salvation!

Col. 2:2-3 “My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. ” God was active and He walked next to us the whole time….He was dwelling in the hearts of everyone ! He encouraged our hearts and united us in love…..and the riches of understanding came pouring out from the heavens! What an honor to unpack the mystery of Christ together and experience the unending source of all wisdom and knowledge! We have been richly blessed . Many tears were shed yesterday….saying goodbye to our kids, the counselors, the cooks, and Pastor and Mrs. Raszyk….all of whom we grow so very close to in only 6 days. It is that great mystery of Jesus’ love! Even though the language/cultural barrier is there at times….you never feel distance…only closeness. You never feel isolated…only accepted. We thank God for the beautiful gift of the Holy Spirit who was igniting and transforming lives. It was miraculous to witness….it was a treasure that we all hold deep in our soul never to be forgotten. This is truly what God has in store for all of us as we GO and LIVE for Jesus….no matter where we are. Thank you to everyone who has been praying, who has given, who walked or ran at Rockin’ & Rollin’ with Poland, who has served in some capacity to make this trip a reality. GOD used you to be a structure under us that empowered us to do something we didn’t think we were even capable of doing. And looking back….we KNOW we would never of been able to accomplish all that was done without the power of our Savior, Jesus Christ equipping HIS people to raise their arm and said, “Here I am…send me!” Thank you so much for coming with us…..it was the greatest treasure hunt we have ever been on!
