Different. If there is one thing I have noticed so far, it is that we are all different yet the same. Each day I spend here I grow to love it more and more. Although we live in two different countries and don’t speak the same language, we have so many things in common. With the counselors we bond over the smallest things. Whether it is English songs we are trying to teach them or them attempting to teach us Polish. The one thing we all have in common is our love for God.
I love how I can come to a completely different place and still feel at home. Each and every person I meet, they don’t hesitate to share their love for God. They are all so kinds and even though you think we would be so different, we are similar. Honestly, I love it here and never want to leave. I know it is only Monday, but I love it and don’t want to think about leaving. So far this trip has given me so much perspective about the world we live. It has showed me, that there is a bigger picture and that God has a plan. Although I started this piece with different, I’d like to end it with the truth. Same.
