“WOW! It’s hard to believe, but we only have one day of camp left. It’s been a blessing to watch the children blossom this week! They have come to life with songs, English language games, sports, food, more food, and yes, more food!
Our God has braided Team America and Team Poland together in a cord of three around Jesus. Earlier this week the counselors made braided bracelets to remind us that our lives are woven together with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We start each day with praise and worship led by the energetic trio of Martyna, Jadzia, and Beth. Several talented Polish counselors share their talents in the band and running audio and video equipment. Even the sleepiest kids and counselors come to life with songs and motions. What a blessing when people from 2 countries and 2 languages join together in one song. It’s an exciting spirit-filled time of our day. The children love to sing of God’s power and “Letting Their Little Lights Shine!”.
This morning Jessie taught us that on our own we can’t do enough to please God. Only by faith are we saved, by His mercy. After praise and worship the children work on English language games. They are eager to learn and are so darn cute trying new words and sentences. It’s even more fun listening to the Americans try new Polish words–this is one hard language!!!!
After the children play games and make adorable crafts we all join together to end our day in closing chapel with more praise songs, more excitement, love and hugs.
OK…it ‘s true! We are tired….but it’s been so worth the time and effort. But the power of the Holy Spirit seeds have been spread. May God continue to grow each life to serve Him with all their hearts, minds, and souls.”
