After months of anticipation, Day Camp is finally, almost here. With the Polish counselors and American Counselor working together for the first time, the final preparations for Day Camp are being completed.
Starting with breakfast this morning, followed by Church, afternoon planning sessions and the evening concert, today has been chock-full of work, laughter, worship and comradery as preparations are completed and friendships are made and renewed. While everyone is excited by seeing the work completed, they are also anxious and nervous as the real work begins tomorrow when the kids arrive.
Most of all, though, we are just thankful for all the blessings God has given us. The blessing of His Son. The blessing of His Word. The blessing of His Church. The blessing of the work He has laid before us. The blessing of the friends, both Polish and American, with whom we share that work. We all thank God that Day Camp is finally here.
