“Today was the first day in which the kids truly opened up, and began interacting much more. Whether English games, soccer games, or singing Praises to God all the kids engaged themselves wholeheartedly.
Yesterday most kids were quiet, but today the smiles and giggles were unavoidable. All the team members can’t help but notice God’s joy in every kid at Day Camp. We also can’t help but feel apprehended by God, and know God is using His amazing power and abundant love when he brings together everyone at Day Camp. God is certainly expressing His immeasurable love to every counselor, kid, and helper; and we still have an entire week to go.
Although we may be tired, witnessing God’s works energizes the entire team; we CANNOT wait for tomorrow morning to see all the bright smiles.”
