Another exciting day in Jastrzebie’s Day Camp! We began our day in Chapel with a skit about caring for others. We have enjoyed our skits this week and they have taught us more about how God asks us to live our own lives.
A highlight of the morning was painting the back of our t-shirts. The American team brought some special shirts this year to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Day Camp in Jastrzebie. On the front, they say “Let Your Light Shine”; on the back, each student painted a star with their name as a reminder that we should always let our light shine for Jesus. We look forward to wearing all of our shirts on Sunday morning!
We continued with our language games. The American counselors are amazed at how much the children have learned this week. They are very bright! We have all agreed that we have learned some things as well – but maybe not our Polish song yet….
To the parents – thank you for sharing your precious children with us this week. We have grown to love each of them and their precious little personalities. We look forward to spending one more day of Day Camp with them tomorrow!
